Good news, we are opening again!

According to government guidelines we are now taking bookings and taking several precautions to ensure the safety of our guests.

Escape to the country to soak up the fresh air, peacefulness and stunning views.

Wake up to the sound of birds singing in the trees as the sun beams through the window,

or curl up under a thick, woollen blanket

and watch for a shooting star from the window at night.

Your Hosts

The Little Places have all been designed and built by myself, Ralph, with the loving support and artistic input of my wife, Lucy. We returned to the family home in Hampshire (on the same land as the Wagon in the Woods) after getting married in 2014, and we love the rural lifestyle.

I work doing a range of bespoke building and carpentry projects (such as the National Trust), and have a passion for design and making things beautiful and a little different. Lucy works as a physiotherapist and has a real love for growing her own vegetables and all things arty and creative.

We really love our Little Places in the Country and regularly stay in them, but get great joy from sharing them with others. Our hope is you will leave not only feeling refreshed but inspired after your stay.

Our aim is to keep designing and making more Little Places in the Country;

every booking gets us closer to the next dream becoming a reality – thank you.
